Oil & Acrylic Expressions
If it can be moved around with a brush, a trowel, a roller, applied with sponges, rags, fingers, plastic or flung with unbridled abandon I have or will try it. With that said, I still prefer the use of oils and acrylics for most of my paintings.
I have a strong affection for Impressionistic Painting, and Primitive Art forms. For sumptuous color and depth, Oils stand alone. When time and production are important, Acrylics are the expedient choice. I love both Pastoral settings, Portraits, and in the last few years the exploration of abstract forms and texture has been very rewarding.
